This Privacy Policy describes how we collect, use, store, and protect your personal data when you use Lana AI Companion ("Service") — an AI‑powered companion for emotional support, available via the Telegram bot @ask_lana_bot and the web app at asklana.neurohelp.pro.

By using the Service, you agree to this Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, please stop using the Service.

4. Legal Basis

• Consent — by using the Service you consent to data processing as described herein.
• Contract performance — processing data necessary for providing paid services.
• Legitimate interest — security and fraud prevention.

For users in the EU/EEA, processing is based on GDPR Art. 6(1)(a), (b), (f), and (c) respectively.

5. Data Storage

Personal data is stored on servers in the European Union (Hetzner, Helsinki, Finland). Financial records are retained for 5 years as required by law.

After account deletion, data is destroyed within 30 days (grace period). Financial data required by law is retained in anonymized form.

7. Data Security

• AES‑256‑GCM encryption — all conversations are encrypted at rest. Even our team cannot read your messages without a special key.
• Encrypted connections — all data in transit is encrypted via TLS.
• Data isolation — each user's data is isolated at the database level.
• Minimal AI exposure — personal identifiers are not sent to the AI model.
• Access control — database access is restricted to the operator only.
• ISO 27001 infrastructure — servers hosted by a certified provider.

8. Your Rights

You have the right to:

• Access your personal data and request a copy;
• Correct inaccurate or outdated data;
• Delete your account and all associated data;
• Withdraw consent for data processing at any time;
• Data portability — receive your data in a machine-readable format;
• Object to processing based on legitimate interest;
• Lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority.

9. Cookies

The Telegram bot does not use cookies.

The web app uses only a session token for authentication — strictly necessary, no tracking or analytics.

We do not use analytics trackers, advertising pixels, or third-party marketing tools.

10. Age Restriction

The Service is intended for individuals aged 18 and older. We do not knowingly collect data from minors. If you become aware that a minor is using the Service, please contact support@neurohelp.pro.

11. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy. The current version is always available at asklana.neurohelp.pro/privacy.html.

For material changes (new data categories, new recipients, changed purposes), we will notify users at least 7 days in advance via the Telegram bot.
